Student Ministry
Our student ministry encompasses both the BRIDGE (6th-8th) and High School SWAT (9th-12th). 1 Peter 3:15 guides us as we seek to develop students to have a strong desire for Godly discipleship and a desire to share Christ with those around them. At High Street, the Bible is central in our Student Ministry as we seek to cultivate spiritual growth within the lives of teens. It is our aspiration, therefore, to produce Godly students among a unified body of believers that are fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. Sundays: During Sunday school students learn how to apply the Word of God to their daily life. During this time we have a time of Worship and Prayer and we open God’s Word together. This small group atmosphere is designed to help our students grow and build relationships with teenagers that last. During this time we utilize The Gospel Project for Students as our primary curriculum. Wednesdays: 6:45pm: Kid’s Street & SWAT Meal 7:00pm: Discipleship for Students 6th-12th grades During this time of intentional discipleship, we will engage in various studies ranging from walking through books of the Bible to more thematic studies, all of which are designed to help students study Biblical truths and how they apply to their lives. Partnering with YOU! At High Street our Student Ministry is built on the Biblical truth that parents and guardians are the spiritual leaders of their children and our role is to equip you to continually center your families on Christ in order to promote a lifelong faith. Teenagers are a fundamental part of the church today and they can unite with Christ where He is at work and make disciples where they are.
